Raleigh Little Theatre's opening night of The Last Night of Ballyhoo, a comedy by Alfred Uhry, author of Driving Miss Daisy and winner of 2 Tony awards, was met with laughter from Scene 1. (no shows Thanksgiving Weekend). Opening: Saturday, November 27th, 2010. Uhry, who also won a Tony for “The Last Night of Ballyhoo” in 1997, said in a statement that he was drawn to the “rich and complex territory” of the relationship between Ms. Running: November 27th- December 19th; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Really being able to fit in to genteel Southern society is an entirely different matter, as Uhry reminds us in his Tony-winning comedy The Last Night of Ballyhoo, now on stage at Live Theatre Workshop.
